Liros kinetic rope 8 m, 5 t breaking load -> only for vehicles up to 1.7 t

High-quality towing rope specially developed by Liros for extremely high force absorption during dynamic towing, e.g. B. in sand. The leash makes it possible to tow blocked off-road vehicles with momentum out of the most difficult and hopeless situations. With eyelet and protective tube made of abrasion-resistant polyester on both sides.

Please also note our safety and warning instructions for kinetic rescue!

Data

Working load (WLL): 3 t
Breaking load (BL): 5 t -> Fastening with Liros Offroad soft shackle 4t WLL, 7t BL recommended!
DANGER! When choosing this rope, it must be ensured that the off-road recovery eyes and the soft shackles have a higher breaking load than the 6.2 t BL of the rope! There is a danger to life if the rescue eyes or the soft shackles cannot withstand the load! Under no circumstances should you attach kinetic cables to the standard towing eyes or the ball head of the hitch.
Length: 8m
Diameter: 18mm
Elongation: 30% at shock load
Material: high-strength polyamide
Construction: 8-fold square braid
Color: Black

20 cm eye on both sides with protective tube red or black - unfortunately it is not possible to influence the color of the protective tube.
Weight: 3.0kg

In any case, please also note our other safety and application instructions for kinetic rescue!

My opinion

Custom made for recovery tools
Since the kinetic ropes with 9.5 t BL and the matching soft shackles with 7 t WLL, 12 t BL are significantly oversized for vehicles under 2 t, we have included this rope in the program.

Unfortunately, we currently have an “incorrect delivery” of Liros in stock with a breaking load of 5 t. That's why I recommend this rope for vehicles up to 1.7 t instead of the previous 2 t.

Very high quality material and very good workmanship. I prefer to use the kinetic ropes from Liros for this recovery method. The straps have too little stretch for me at 20%, which can still give a lot of blows.
Which length is most suitable depends on the area of application:

5 m - narrow, short, winding passages
8 m - is my choice because it is the most versatile

12m, 15m - especially suitable for sand/dunes, as the towing vehicle should have grip itself and otherwise often cannot get close enough.
15 m - if very long mud, sand passages or snow fields have to be overcome.

KINETIC RECOVERY HARNESS/KINETIC RECOVERY ROPE

If a vehicle has gotten stuck in mud, deep mud, a water hole, snow or sand, then a kinetic recovery rope, known in English as a snatch strap, is usually the easiest and fastest recovery solution if there is a second vehicle and it is on a grippy surface underground stands. Even if rescue using a winch is not successful because the winching vehicle moves instead of the vehicle to be rescued due to a lack of stable grip, a kinetic rescue rope is usually the solution. Without elasticity, there is an enormous point load at the recovery points and the risk of damage is very high. However, the anchor points on the vehicle must also be able to withstand the stress of a kinetic rescue - see warning. The use of soft shackles is mandatory when rescuing with kinetic ropes or belts. As long as there are suitable attachment points for soft shackles (no sharp edges) on the vehicles and the breaking loads of the recovery material used match the respective vehicle weight, we strongly advise against using steel shackles when recovering with kinetic ropes or belts for safety reasons!

Kinetic ropes are also perfect for towing a vehicle that is no longer roadworthy off-road. In contrast to off-road recovery, standard eyelets are also OK when purely towing
