TireJect Automotive - 8OZ Set

Seals creeping flat feet and holes up to 6 mm in tires up to approx. 285/70-17. Larger tires may require an additional 2 oz, but 8 oz worked for me even on 315/70-17.

• 1 x 8 oz Bag of TireJect Automotive Tire Sealant - Dupont™ Kevlar® Fibers in Liquid Adhesive.
• Valve core remover
• Dosing cap with hose for easy filling of tire sealant
• Red valve cap to identify tires with tire sealant installed
• 8OZ - 177 ml sufficient for a tire up to approx. size 285/70-17.
• For larger tires 35", 37" an additional 2-4 OZ (60-120 ml) may be required

Application

• The affected wheel's valve should be down
• Shake the bag of liquid sealant very well
• Remove the inner valve of the flat tire using the included tool
• Shake the bag again, open it and screw on the filling aid (90° = closed, 180° = opened)
• Put the hose on the valve
• Open the dosing aid (hose - bag 180°) and fill in sealant
• Screw in the inner valve
• Inflate tires to desired pressure
• Drive for about 5 minutes so that the sealant can spread well everywhere

My opinion

I was skeptical about the tire sealant at first, but the first tests are great! After several days of losing an average of 1 bar of pressure on a tire within 24 hours (315/70-17) and not being able to find any leaks without dismantling the wheel, I put (8OZ) 236 ml of the sealant in the tire Filled it up, pumped it back up to 2.5 bar and did a few laps. After 24 hours 2.45 bar, after 48 hours 2.45 bar :)

That was in July 2021! Meanwhile, February 2022, a few thousand kilometers later, the tire is still holding air, despite many off-road kilometers and frequent depressurization and re-inflation. I am convinced!

Tip: Shake very well several times before filling, otherwise the aramid fibers will clump and can clog the filling aid.
