ARB510 tire pressure quick release digital

The EZ Deflator allows for valve core removal for rapid tire deflation while providing accurate pressure measurement via the simple movement of a slide valve. The high quality brass gauge ensures that accuracy is not affected by fluctuations in temperature, humidity or altitude.

My opinion

A further development of the well-known and proven analogue ARB quick release. At first I didn't really see why I should spend €20 more just to have an LCD display, but this device has the great advantage of not only displaying up to 4.5 bar but up to 7 bar. Easy to use even at night thanks to the illuminated display.
Since I had been asked several times after ordering whether it was a disposable device because there was no battery compartment to be found:
Carefully slide the rubber protection down from the housing and on the hose; the battery compartment is then accessible on the back (see pictures).

function

First, the brass attachment is screwed onto the valve (clockwise) and then the valve insert with the pin in the middle is screwed out (counterclockwise) - the valve insert remains in the tester and cannot be lost. The desired tire pressure is now set using a slide valve. This is very precise because the tire pressure can be read on the pressure gauge. Then screw the valve insert back in and unscrew the brass attachment, done!

When using balancing beads, make sure that the tire valve is at the top for deflation!
