The bolt serves as a security for 2 inchtrailer hitches. Thanks to thesafety lock, a loose split pin is no longer needed. By simply folding overthe clasp, it is secured and lost split pins are a thing of the past.
My opinion
Since I have already lost a few split pins, I find this bolt with safety lock quite useful.
